The console also offers such controls as an easy-to-use start button, up/down arrow keys, and a quick-start speed option. The speed option is particularly handy, with buttons to skip directly to 3, 4, 5, or 6 miles per hour in a flash. You can also increase or decrease the speed using the up/down arrow buttons. And to make your workouts more efficient, the console offers five exercise programs that help you vary your exercise routine--a critical factor for people trying to get in shape.
Other features include contact heart rate grips that let you monitor your heart rate while you exercise; built-in speakers and a headphone port for plugging in your iPod or MP3 player; and a 1.5-horsepower continuous-duty motor.
